Sisimiut, Greenland’s 2nd largest city.
Sisimiut has a vast hinterland of mighty nature. Staying at the family-owned Hotel Sisimiut gives you views of mountains and hiking trails. The hotel has its own restaurant, and outside on the terrace you can end the day in the hot tub with a view of the sky, followed by a sauna.

Kangerlussuaq is one of the best places in the world to experience the majestic ice sheet. A drive from the town brings you to the edge of the enormous ice mass that covers most of Greenland.
Walking on the ice sheet is like stepping into another world – a frozen time capsule of ice – thousands of years old. The silence, the glittering ice crystals and the sweeping views give a sense of awe that is hard to explain.
