In the restaurant you can taste traditional Greenlandic cuisine with their Greenlandic buffet. Special dishes include mattak – blubber from narwhal or beluga whale, musk ox, reindeer, snow crab and freshly caught prawns.
As guests, you have free access to cross-country skis, sledges and snowshoes, and the staff will help you get customized sizes. You can rent warm winter clothing. On the terrace, you can sit in the hot tub with a view of the sky, followed by a sauna to loosen your muscles after a day in the sun.
On UTV in the mountainous landscape of Sisimiut.
Riding a UTV (Utility Terrain Vehicle) is both fun and relaxing – take to the skies, see the wide open spaces and experience Sisimiut’s hinterland. You’ll drive through the sled dog village, crossing the local river with its crystal clear drinking water, where you can stop to taste the water. You’ll find yourself driving along trails that border the mountainous landscape of Sisimiut.
You’ll be accompanied by a guide who knows the area and you’ll hear about the many cultural treasures and stories hidden in Sisimiut’s mountain landscapes. Especially hearing about the lifestyle of the former Inuit.
It’s great to see the joy in their eyes when our guests, who have been dreaming of these experiences for years, experience it. – Sisse, Hotel Manager, Hotel Sisimiut
